About the role
As a Foreman, you will manage the day-to-day activities of Laborers, Operators, and Subcontractors, monitor site production rates, report hours, and maintain a safe work environment. This role involves reviewing and understanding construction drawings, following topographic elevations, earth moving, installing underground utilities, ordering materials, and coordinating trucking.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead Laborers, Operators, and Subcontractors on-site.
- Monitor and report site production rates and hours worked.
- Review and interpret construction drawings and topographic elevations.
- Oversee earth moving and installation of underground utilities.
- Order materials and coordinate trucking logistics.
- Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and job-specific safety standards.
- Maintain all required paperwork per company policy and federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity in construction.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Experience with earth moving, underground utilities, and material ordering.
- Strong communication skills with co-workers, customers, and Project Managers.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical assessment test.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating a variety of construction equipment.
- Familiarity with GPS machine control.

Pay
Pay range: $35–$45/hour, subject to Prevailing Wage. This range represents expected hourly compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs.
