West Coast Regional Engagement Director

For our client, we are seeking a West Coast Regional Engagement Director to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role will lead regional engagement efforts across the West Coast, building trusted relationships that expand the organization’s visibility and influence. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in public affairs, government relations, or community organizing, along with the ability to connect with senior leaders across sectors. Success in this position will depend on shaping regional strategy, strengthening community partnerships, and translating local audience insights into effective programming. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $145,000 – $165,000 annually Responsibilities Build and maintain a diverse regional network to amplify the organization’s mission Develop a strategy to expand the organization’s reach in collaboration with senior leaders Strengthen connections with local constituency groups to increase access to organizational resources Gather insights from local audiences to tailor regional programming Identify strategic partners to enhance the organization’s profile in the region Source and secure venues for regional events and programming Facilitate ongoing communication with members and stakeholders Qualifications BA or BS in international relations, public policy, or a related field; MA or MS preferred 10+ years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or community organizing, preferably in the Bay Area Proven ability to build relationships with senior leaders across various sectors Deep understanding of the tech sector in the Bay Area and on the West Coast Strong communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues Benefits Award-winning health and wellness program On-site fitness center Generous leave policies Comprehensive health insurance programs Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
