Associate Director of Development - West Coast Region

Duties And Responsibilities

• Creates and implements cultivation and solicitation plans for new Annual Giving donors on a case-by-case basis using multiple touch points including email, telephone, mail, and in person meetings.
• Serve as a representative at various national, regional, or chapter events.
• Effectively manage a portfolio of 150-200 donors and prospects.
• Keep up to date notes and donor records in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with local volunteer leadership on select Annual Giving and donor engagement events.
• Present to groups at events or other venues about Hadassah and the various opportunities to give.
• Aid in donor outreach and follow up during key times of the year such as End of Year, annual conference, or a large event.
• Prepare updates and reports on donor pipelines to your supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Education, Experience

• Bachelor's degree, plus to 5 yrs. Development or fundraising experience.
• Experience working with volunteers and partnering with them for individual donor cultivations and solicitations.
• Database and computer literacy, specific knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
• Knowledge of and level of comfort with development best practices.
• Must have a high level of proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Responsive to deadlines and service to multiple assignments.
