Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Proactive new business generation with a focus on the West Coast (US)
- Managing existing relationships for growth through valued account management and up-selling new solutions
- Maintaining and developing a robust pipeline by sourcing new opportunities
- Collaborating with the development team on shaping the offer
- Engaging and communicating effectively with senior (often C-level) decision-makers
- Accurately maintaining and developing our prospect/client database
- Attending industry conferences and events to develop new business
- Monitoring and analyzing the drug discovery market trends
- Providing insights into the Business Unit strategy
Requirements
- A Master’s degree is required, Ph.D. is an additional plus, preferably in a life sciences-related area
- Based on the US West Coast
- Min. 5 years of sales of services or consulting experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sector is required
- Familiarity with the Drug Discovery market
- Knowledge in Bioinformatics, AI & machine learning, software engineering, data science
- Fluent English verbal and written, at least C1 level
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in presenting to senior decision-makers in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology sector
- Consultative, solution-oriented approach
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- A motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Focused and output-driven, with time management skills, meeting deadlines
- Self-starting, flexible, and Team-player, comfortable with working with a group
- Proven experience working in a similar role would be a plus

- Sandler Selling System experience is nice to have
