This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll build and run a stand-alone business division across a five-state territory — combining sales, operations, and field execution with real autonomy and no ceiling on what you earn. About The OpportunityWe're a growing, privately-owned industrial equipment field service company specializing in the maintenance, repair, retrofit, and installation of large rotary processing equipment used in heavy industrial and mining plants. As part of a strategic territory expansion, we're adding a dedicated leader to run our western operations.Your RoleAs District Manager, you'll operate as a business leader responsible for a multi-state territory spanning Nevada, California, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. You'll oversee sales, operations, and team development while driving revenue growth and ensuring successful project execution — running what is effectively your own franchise of an established, growing company. What You'll DoLead and manage a multi-state territory, overseeing sales, operations, and overall business performanceBuild, develop, and mentor a local team of 3-4+ people (shop, welders, sales, maintenance techs)Drive revenue growth through direct sales strategy and hands-on customer relationship managementPersonally quote, plan, and execute field service jobs — including mechanical maintenance, rework, retrofit, and installation of rotary processing equipmentGet hands-on with mechanical problem-solving at customer sitesManage gross margin and P&L performance for the district What You'll Bring7-10+ years of experience in heavy industrial environments (field service, engineering consulting, or construction preferred)Direct field service experience — able to personally organize and quote repair jobs, not just oversee from a distanceStrong mechanical aptitude and comfort being hands-on, not behind a deskProven sales, quoting, and gross margin/P&L ownershipDemonstrated leadership with team-building capabilitiesEntrepreneurial spirit and comfort operating with significant autonomyWillingness to travel heavily within the territory (near-full-time early on, settling to roughly half-time as the local team builds out)High school diploma or GED required; engineering background a plusAuthorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Compensation: $75K–$95K base plus uncapped commission (3% of gross profit margin on district sales). Total compensation typically $125K–$155K+, with year-one OTE north of $160K.
