About the role

This position partners with parents to lead children as they grow in relationship with Jesus through faith and worship. Responsibilities include the development and leadership for ministry to nursery and preschool-aged children and their families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum that supports spiritual growth and learning
• Lead Sunday morning services and other church events for nursery and preschool-aged children
• Collaborate with parents to support the spiritual development of children and their families
• Oversee the daily operations of the nursery and preschool programs
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance ministry effectiveness

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Experience working with children in a faith-based setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Passion for children and their spiritual growth
• Effective teaching and mentoring abilities
• Experience with child safety and background checks

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
