About the role
Performs physical therapy procedures delegated by a physical therapist to treat medically referred patients with physical disabilities. Assesses and reports progress or problems in attaining maximal function. Implements a treatment plan based on the physical therapist's evaluation and plan of care to address patient needs. Completes the appropriate documentation and billing in a timely manner.

Requirements
- Must have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited PTA program.
- Must hold or be eligible to receive a PTA license in the state where services will be provided within the first 90 days of employment.
- Must be certified in CPR or must become certified within the first 90 days of employment.
- Must maintain all certifications and licensure according to the expiration date.
- American Physical Therapy Association membership preferred.
- If assigned to drive a company vehicle, a valid driver’s license is required.
- If assigned to drive a personal vehicle, proof of insurance is required in addition to a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of imaging the various anatomical structures.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications.
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds; and assist with 100 pounds.
- Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned.
