About the role

Under the general supervision of the Wellness Center Manager, the Wellness Technician educates clients in wellness and prepares participants for the proper use of equipment. The position also performs housekeeping/cleaning duties and acts as receptionist or clerical assistant as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• BLS certification required
• Annual influenza vaccinations are mandatory for all employees by December 1, unless a medical waiver is signed and approved
• Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse course for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 30 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter
