Wellness Professional
About the role
Conducts one-on-one group fitness assessments; recommends individualized fitness programs tailored to each resident's ability levels. Teaches a variety of exercise classes including boxing, Rock Steading boxing and assists with on-going well-being programs including pool operations and scheduling. Assists in the planning, implementation and promotion of all well-being events; responsible for weekly and monthly fitness/event calendar creation and distribution. Coordinates and schedules well-being contractors. Participates in Well-Being Committee meetings; Assists Well-Being Director in implementing Lifestyle initiatives and promoting the Asbury Well-Being model.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- One (1) year experience in group or individual health and fitness instruction and event coordination.
- Three to seven (3-7+) years' experience in wellness programs preferred.
- CPR/AED Certification.
- Certifications: CPR, AED, ACSM, ACE, NASM or wellness coaching credentials preferred.
- Group fitness instruction and/or Personal Training Certification required.
- Data Analysis, program evaluation, and great communication skills highly preferred.

Pay
$21.00/hour
Schedule
Full-Time, 80 hours bi-weekly Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm Occasional nights & weekends for special events
