Responsibilities
- Administer medications safely and accurately
- Oversee resident care and coordinate staff assignments
- Communicate with physicians and families regarding resident health and needs
- Provide direct care for activities of daily living
- Respond to medical emergencies promptly and effectively
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support staff training and development initiatives
- Assist with scheduling and care planning
- Promote effective team communication and collaboration
- Respond with patience and understanding to dementia-related behaviors
Requirements
- Valid LVN/LPN license in good standing
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in assisted living or long-term care
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and basic computer skills
- Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Physical ability to perform essential job functions, including lifting and mobility
