Wellness Nurse
About the role
The Wellness Nurse at Spectrum Retirement Communities supports the health and well-being of residents through ongoing clinical monitoring and support. They assist in the coordination of the resident admission process, ensure care is delivered according to resident care plans, administer medications and treatments, coordinate care with other providers, and document care provided and resident observations.
Responsibilities
- Supports ongoing clinical monitoring and resident care
- Aid in the resident admission process, including screening, assessment, and care needs
- Administer medications and treatments as per physicians' orders
- Coordinate care and services with other outside providers, including resident physicians
- Document and report care provided and resident observations, including unusual or significant changes
- Maintain a working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
- Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN)
- Three years’ experience in assessment and geriatric nursing, preferred
- Graduated from an accredited school of practical nursing
- Working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures

Pay
The Wellness Nurse position is offered on a part-time schedule from 02:00PM-10:00PM.

The Wellness Nurse works part-time from 02:00PM-10:00PM.
