Responsible for supporting and guiding employees through the WellU program at the Osher Center for Integrative Health. Collaborates directly with employees to create individualized wellness plans based on employee Health Risk Assessment results. Works as liaison between employee and various programs and services to ensure timely access and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Health Risk Assessment (HRA) dashboards and reports to identify participant needs and support timely follow up.
  • Review HRA results daily to ensure no high-risk result go unresolved.
  • Assist employees in navigating the WellU program and its benefits.
  • Facilitate the Health Risk Assessment (HRA) enrollment process for new participants.
  • May conduct orientation sessions to introduce employees to available resources and services.
  • Review individual Health Risk Assessment results of employees who are identified as being at rising-risk for metabolic or mental health concerns.
  • Provide one-on-one consultations to assess individual employee health and wellness needs and recommend appropriate WellU services.
  • Develop personalized wellness plans in collaboration with program participants.
  • Offer ongoing support and follow-up to ensure employee engagement and progress.
  • Coordinate with various departments and wellness providers both internal and external to the Osher Center to ensure a seamless experience for employees.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available resources, workshops, and events.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and connecting employees with appropriate services.
  • Actively promote the WellU program through various channels, including email, social media, and in-person events.
  • Organize and participate in wellness fairs, workshops, and other promotional activities.
  • Create and distribute informational materials to increase program awareness and participation.
  • Maintain accurate program records and monitor employee participation to support program evaluation and continuous improvement.
  • Collect feedback from participants to continuously improve program offerings.
  • Prepare regular reports on program utilization and outcomes for internal review.
  • Work closely with the Director of Personal Wellbeing, Employee Wellness Manager and other administrative staff to align program initiatives with overall wellness goals.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning for the WellU program.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Business, Communication, Nursing or related field, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).
  • Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of lifestyle-related chronic diseases, behavior change principles, and integrative health principles and practices.
  • Experience organizing and managing program data, including creating charts, tables, and reports to support program evaluation and decision making.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements.
  • Must be immunized according to CDC standards and hospital policy (limited exemptions may be made for documented medical contraindications or religious beliefs that object to vaccinations).

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a wellness or health-related role.
  • Bachelor's degree in health promotion, public health or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Redcap Database program.
  • Experience working in a higher education setting.
  • Certification in health coaching or a related field.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage competing priorities, and work independently while exercising sound judgment.
  • Experience in oncology, multidisciplinary clinics, and/or working with high-acuity, complex patients may be preferred.

Pay

$50,000-$59,450

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
