Wellness Director - Memory Care

About the role

The Wellness Director – LPN/LVN or RN position at Meridian Senior Living is responsible for delivering comprehensive personal care services to residents, ensuring quality care aligns with residents' healthcare needs, and coordinating and supervising resident care staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care services to residents in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Treat residents with respect and dignity.
• Ensure quality care as residents' healthcare needs change.
• Coordinate, train, and supervise resident care staff based on residents' needs, state regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• Must be an LPN/LVN or RN in good standing and meet all State health requirements.
• Experience in Assisted Living and/or Long-term care for at least 3 years.
• Knowledge of State and local rules, regulations, laws, and ordinances relevant to licensed senior housing.
• Previous supervisory and/or management experience in a related healthcare setting.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, community, and State officials.
• Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks based on fluctuating resident needs.
• Systems development for monitoring resident health conditions and efficient delivery of care.
• Ability to supervise staff using independent judgment and discretion.
• Meet all health requirements and pass background checks.

Qualifications
