About the Role
Vista Springs Timber Ridge Village is seeking a Wellness Director to ensure Vista Springs remains the safest, most compliant, and most respected wellness-driven community in the market. This leader will act as an advocate and culture-builder, inspiring others to deliver care at the highest possible standard.
Responsibilities
- Plans, coordinates, and provides total nursing care for Community Members and supervises clinical staff.
- Supports the philosophy, mission, commitment, vision, and values of Vista Springs.
- Initiates and leads team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Assesses and documents Community Members’ conditions and nursing needs.
- Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
- Assigns nursing care to team members based on Community Members’ needs and staff capabilities.
- Supervises, directs, and evaluates LVNs and CNAs.
- Administers medications, performs treatments, and documents care as required by regulations.
- Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
- Assists physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state Nursing Practice Act.
- Ensures economical use of supplies and proper maintenance of equipment.
- Reports and records observations and reactions regarding Community Members.
- Coordinates nursing care for Community Members scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
- Supervises the nursing unit, including scheduling and directing staff.
- Maintains inventory and supplies, and communicates needs for housekeeping, maintenance, or dietary assistance.
- Promotes interpersonal relationships and develops staff morale.
- Assists with or institutes emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in Community Members.
- Performs other assigned tasks and conducts job responsibilities in accordance with Vista Springs’ policies and applicable laws.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training.
- Valid CPR certification.
- RN or LPN license.
- Three years of nursing experience preferred.

- Frequent standing, walking, and talking or hearing.
- Occasional sitting, finger handling, pushing/pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Hearing requirements: ability to hear alarms, client calls, and instructions from physicians or department staff.

- Occasional exposure to latex, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, extreme temperatures, or wet/humid conditions.
