Wellness Coordinator – Front Desk Sales & Clinic Operations
About the role
This is a sales position with front-desk responsibilities, not a traditional receptionist role. You will independently manage the front desk while guiding patients toward membership, overcoming objections, asking directly for enrollment, and confidently closing the sale. We need someone naturally outgoing, high-energy, and confident engaging with people in person, by phone, and on camera.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming patient experience and independently manage daily front-desk operations
- Lead membership sales conversations, identify enrollment barriers, overcome objections, and ask directly for the sale and payment
- Convert new patients into recurring members by confidently presenting services, pricing, and care options
- Follow sales scripts accurately while delivering them in a natural, confident, and conversational manner
- Handle patient questions, complaints, membership concerns, and cancellations professionally
- Answer phones, schedule visits, process payments, maintain accurate records, and open and close the clinic
- Complete approximately 50-70 outbound lead and follow-up calls per day when assigned
- Prioritize patients, phone calls, sales, and administrative work during busy periods
- Manage patient flow, identify delays, and report specific concerns to clinic leadership
- Work collaboratively across shifts and take ownership of shared clinic responsibilities, including completing follow-up or unfinished tasks started by another Wellness Coordinator
- Actively request Google reviews and patient referrals and deliver an experience that earns both
- Represent the clinic at occasional community events and participate in required customer-facing video reels and promotional content
Requirements
Customer service, sales, or teaching experience in a retail, fitness, wellness, hospitality, healthcare, or other people-facing environment
Naturally outgoing, energetic, and comfortable initiating conversations and approaching strangers
Willing and able to participate in required customer-facing video reels, photos, and promotional content
Comfortable asking for commitment, discussing payment, and responding to sales objections
Confident communication skills and the ability to handle difficult conversations calmly
Strong computer, organizational, multitasking, and follow-through skills
Maintain a polished, professional business-casual appearance during every shift and clinic event
Reliable, punctual, coachable, accountable, and available to work every Saturday
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a similar role preferred

Pay
$21-$24 per hour based on relevant experience and demonstrated ability
Schedule
Full-time, 32-40 hours/week; every Saturday required; daily hours may vary
