Responsibilities

• Participate in resident and family education and counseling on health promotion.
• Create newsletters, coordinate health screenings, and present monthly wellness briefs to communicate wellness promotion throughout the community.
• Provide direct care and maintain the clinical record for each resident receiving care in the Wellness Center.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous work with the geriatric population preferred.
• Graduation from a School of Nursing for Registered Nurses required.
• Current State Licensure in the state where practicing required.
• Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications required.
• Current First Aid certification required or must be willing and able to become First Aid certified.
• Compliance with Florida's Care Provider Background Screening process required.

Pay

Pay Range: USD $34.10 - USD $42.62 per hour.

Schedule

This position is PRN in the wellness clinic with hours from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM every other Saturday and Sunday and from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM every Wednesday and Thursday.
