Wellbeing Coordinator & Day Care Worker

The Role

To support the wellbeing of individuals attending The Weir through meaningful activities, companionship, and social engagement in a warm and welcoming environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging group and one-to-one activities
• Social, creative, sensory, and reminiscence sessions
• Encourage independence, confidence, and participation
• Organise themed events, outings, and community activities
• Build positive relationships with attendees and families
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and friendly environment

Skills & Experience

• Caring, enthusiastic, and creative approach
• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Experience in activities, wellbeing, care, or community settings desirable
• Dementia awareness beneficial but not essential
