Welfare Officer

About the role

Act as a bridge between workers and management, addressing employee concerns and grievances.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, including health, safety, and welfare regulations.
• Conduct regular counseling sessions with workers to address personal, financial, and workplace issues.
• Coordinate and assist in organizing various employee engagement activities such as awareness programs, training sessions, and welfare events.
• Promote a positive work environment and support workers' well-being through awareness initiatives on health, hygiene, and workplace safety.
• Provide information and guidance to workers about company policies, rules, and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of grievances, counseling sessions, and welfare activities.
• Collaborate with medical and HR teams to address workers' health-related issues, including occupational health risks.
• Handle cases of workplace harassment or discrimination and work with management to resolve them effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with Concentration/Major in HRM.
• Age: 25 - 37 years.
• Gender: Female.
• Training/Course: PGD-HRM preferred.
• Area of Expertise: HR Skills & Competencies, Leading the HR team to achieve goals.
• Additional Requirements: Empathy and ability to understand and address employees' issues. Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements in Bangladesh. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Experience and skills

• 2 - 3 years experience in HR Skills & Competencies, Leading the HR team to achieve goals.
• Area of Business: Garments, Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG), Textile.
• Workplace: Work at Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
