About the role

I.K. Hofmann USA is seeking Welding Workers for its facility in Marietta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality manual TIG welding on thin-gauge stainless steel and specialized metal components used in modular chimney and exhaust assemblies.
• Read and analyze shop drawings, technical schematics, and work orders to plan the layout and assembly of custom ventilation parts.
• Operate fabrication machinery (such as metal presses, shears, rollers, and cutting tables) and use hand grinders to prepare and clean joints before welding.
• Inspect finished welds and assemblies for structural precision, airtightness, and surface finish conformance.

Requirements

• Ability to move up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for some parts of the day.
• Ability to position oneself to access equipment as needed.
• Willingness to wear protective gear such as work boots.
• Exposure to very hot or very cold temperatures; workspaces may not be temperature‑controlled.
• May need to get into awkward positions to reach cramped workspaces.
