EntryPosition Description
The primary purpose of this position is to weld engine parts as well as other aircraft parts.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will weld repetitive items such as engine and aircraft parts.
- You will select the proper size and type of electrodes or welding rods for the type of weld.
- You will operate electric resistance welding machines, set the proper heat range, etc.
- You will observe safety measures and take precautions against fire.
- You will be required to exercise care to avoid excessive warping.
- You will weld a variety of metal thicknesses.
Minimum Salary
$24.72 per hour
Maximum Salary
$28.80 per hour
