Welding/ Robot Weld Production Lead - 2nd Shift

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Oversee efficient flow of product; strive to ensure availability of component parts, containers, and production supplies to minimize line stoppages.
• Ensure product quality and workmanship of the department.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
• Assign tasks based on the daily production schedule and adjust as needed.
• Anticipate production delays, material shortages, and equipment malfunctions and implement strategies to mitigate losses.
• Communicate necessary repairs to prevent excessive downtime.
• Maintain safety devices, equipment, and departmental cleanliness; monitor for hazardous conditions.
• Ensure proper safety practices are followed and appropriate paperwork is completed for process tracking.
• Assist with operator training as needed.
• Communicate with relevant personnel for production or quality issues.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor.
• Participate in disciplinary measures as required.
• Provide feedback on employee performance and training opportunities.
• Serve as a backup to the Operations Supervisor as needed.

Must have a High School degree or GED. Ideal candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with previous leadership experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
