Welding Inspector
About the role
This will be a full-time, seasonal opportunity. We are seeking a Welding Inspector to join our dynamic team in Owing Mills, MD.
Responsibilities
- Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Review and interpret welding procedures, codes, and standards.
- Identify and address welding defects.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and contractors.
- Deliver excellent work to ensure the integrity and safety of natural gas distribution projects through thorough inspections and quality assurance processes.
Requirements
- Certification such as CWI or CPWI is required for this position.
- Prior welding experience in gas pipeline construction or maintenance is essential.
- We welcome candidates with strong field experience and a solid understanding of welding practices in utility environments.
- Enjoys working in the field and solving challenges in real-time.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
