Welding Engineering Intern

About the role

The Welding Engineer Summer Intern at Miller Electric provides hands‑on exposure to day‑to‑day operations and supports projects and research that generate cost savings or revenue opportunities for Miller Electric Manufacturing Company. The internship is designed for a self‑directed, results‑oriented, and customer‑focused individual.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily activities and support tasks related to welding engineering.
• Complete a major project that contributes to professional growth.
• Meet and interact with end customers at factory and field locations.
• Demonstrate equipment and provide technical support to customers.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and technical knowledge.
• Classroom experience with welding processes.
• At least in the junior year of a relevant academic program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proactive ability to recognize improvement opportunities.
