Welder-Wessels 1st & 3rd Shift

National Machinery is a world-class middle market company that designs and manufactures cold forming machinery, and we are looking for a Welder-Wessels 1st & 3rd Shift to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Layout, set-up, and weld sheet metal and heavy plate fabrications per blueprint.
• Operate all required fabrication equipment.
• Weld multiple applications such as hand welding, manipulator welding, and positioner welding of pressure vessels per ASME specifications.
• Use a variety of hand power tools and measuring instruments.
• Inspect and clean up their work to ensure quality.

Requirements

• Must be well organized and have good communication skills.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Must have knowledge of the use of hand tools and power equipment.
• Must have good attention to detail.
• Must have good mathematical skills.
• Must work well as a team player.
• Must be able to attain ASME welding certification.

Pay

$21 - $27 per hour

Schedule

• Standard 8-hour shifts, 150% paid anytime over 8 hours daily, hours over 45 in a week are paid as double time.
• First Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
• Second Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday – Friday + 12.5% Shift Premium
• Third Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday – Thursday + 7.5% Shift Premium
