Responsibilities

  • Provide welding support as part of the maintenance crew including but not limited to: Welding and fitting tasks associated with the maintenance/construction of a steel pipeline system in accordance with applicable codes.
  • Performing general labor activities including: driving commercial vehicles, operating equipment, damage prevention, and maintenance and repair of pipeline and facility assets.
  • Includes certain administrative functions associated with this position.
  • Potential Travel Requirements: 26-75%

Qualifications

  • Education: H.S. Diploma required
  • Work Experience: 1 - 2 years related work experience preferred

Required Licenses and Certifications

  • Must pass test based on API 1104, Standard for Welding pipelines and related facilities, and ASME Section IX, Recommended Pipeline Maintenance Practices within 30 Days required
  • Obtain a Department of Transportation CDL license with HazMat endorsement regarding truck drivers within 60 Days required
  • Exhibit safe working habits and develop a working knowledge of company's procedures within 120 Days required
  • Current API certifications and CDL preferred
  • Must be qualified in specific tasks according to the Company's Operator Qualification (OQ) Plan required
