Join our 9-Week Weld School and learn Production Welding at Great Plains!
Responsibilities
- Learn weld foundation skills in the classroom in the mornings.
- Practice hands-on welding with individual coaching from an experienced Weld Instructor in the afternoons.
Qualifications
- Prior weld experience is helpful, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay on-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of team concepts and strong team player.
- Safety skills: ability to safely use hand and power tools, read blueprints, and use a tape measure.
- Able to embrace Lean Manufacturing and implement change.
- Compliance with Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wearing prescribed PPE.
