Welder- South Region- Quick Apply

Key Responsibilities

• Welding Operations: Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on structural steel components, follow welding procedures and specifications, operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Material Preparation: Assist with cutting, grinding, and cleaning materials, set up welding stations, adjust equipment based on job-specific instructions, support layout and assembly of components for welding.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished welds, maintain basic records of welding activity and inspection outcomes, follow internal quality guidelines, participate in ongoing training.
• Safety and Compliance: Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE), adhere to all safety protocols, participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and emergency drills, report safety hazards or incidents immediately to supervision.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment and tools, report malfunctioning or unsafe equipment to supervisors, ensure tools and materials are properly stored and organized.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and project leads, support other shop or field personnel as needed, participate in training and development sessions to build technical skills.
