Essential Functions
- Must be able to read and write legibly
- Must be able to read/understand and work from shop drawings
- Must be able to operate overhead crane and jib hoist
- Must be able to operate forklift
Required Qualifications
- Prior welding/cutting experience
- Must be able to pass in-house weld test
- Must be able to make sound welds
- Must have a safety-first attitude. Be respectful to all persons.
- Be responsible, dependable and trustworthy
- Must pass a forklift safety course and demonstrate safe practices
- Must be able to pass practical and written overhead crane training course
- Must be familiar with machinery and possess a basic mechanical aptitude
- Able to understand and interpret drawings for basic dimensions
- Flexible for non-standard working hours
- Must have good organizational/housekeeping skills and problem resolution skills
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50lbs
