Welder III ($34-37/hr.)

Requirements

• Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on thin-gauge materials (typically 0.035"–0.065%), including aluminum, stainless steel, and specialty alloys
• Demonstrated expertise welding aluminum alloys such as 6061
• Proper fabrication and welding of customer parts and assemblies as requested
• No less than 90% of completed parts to successfully pass inspection process
• Offer viable semi-annual process improvement initiatives
• Follow all safety policies and guidelines
• Complete all necessary documentation for proper tracking of work

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Successful completion of accredited welding course or equivalent on the job training
• 5+ years of TIG welding experience, with at least 3 years focused on thin-gauge aluminum
• Proven ability to weld material under 1/8" thickness without distortion
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time while performing job duties
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
