Requirements
- Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on thin-gauge materials (typically 0.035"–0.065%), including aluminum, stainless steel, and specialty alloys
- Demonstrated expertise welding aluminum alloys such as 6061
- Proper fabrication and welding of customer parts and assemblies as requested
- No less than 90% of completed parts to successfully pass inspection process
- Offer viable semi-annual process improvement initiatives
- Follow all safety policies and guidelines
- Complete all necessary documentation for proper tracking of work
Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Successful completion of accredited welding course or equivalent on the job training
- 5+ years of TIG welding experience, with at least 3 years focused on thin-gauge aluminum
- Proven ability to weld material under 1/8" thickness without distortion
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time while performing job duties
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

- In process inspection tools such as measuring tapes, radial/digital calipers, height gauges, etc.
