Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Qualified to 6GR Welder Certification or equivalent.
• Aids in selecting equipment and laying out materials for assembly and welding.
• Cuts materials to length using band saws, ironworker, track torch or hand torch.
• Reads basic instructions from blueprints and layouts.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• Assists with repairs by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
• Reads and interprets blueprints to plan and complete project according to approved plan specifications.
• Fabricates skids, stacking assemblies, water tank stands, and transformer and distribution frames for housing units.
• Participates in on-call/call-out service call activities required to support operations in the field as requested.
• Operates a forklift and overhead crane.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the workshop.
• Cleans and services forklifts.
• Loads and unloads materials and equipment from trucks, as needed.
• Ensures full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer QHSE handbooks, HSE procedures and emergency procedures.
• Maintains a professional appearance and communication style in dealing with customers and coworkers.
• Allocates work and supervises productivity.
• Quality checks employee work.
• Suggests and provides feedback on improvements as necessary.

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Qualified to 6GR Welder Certification or equivalent.
• A valid local driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Passes a physical, agility testing, and drug and alcohol screen.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, nights, and overtime as needed.
