Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations on standard and repetitive elements and structures following prescribed procedures.
- Execute basic welds on straightforward joints and materials.
- Adhere to welding safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Read and interpret simple blueprints or welding symbols.
- Maintain attention to detail to ensure welds meet basic quality standards.
- Use and accurately read measuring devices (tape measures).
- Operate hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.).
- Follow blueprints, Work Instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Use a computer with basic proficiency (data entry).
