Welder Fabricator - Day Shift Only - 4 Day Work Week

About the role

RealTruck, the premier manufacturer and digital destination of accessories for truck, Jeep®, Bronco®, and off-road enthusiasts, is hiring a Welder for its Lafayette, IN facility. This role involves TIG welding custom stainless steel parts and accessories for semis, grinding, finishing, and training on a laser welder.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on products, including cosmetic welding.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications, work orders, and/or prints.
• Cut aluminum to specification.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify flaws.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical/horizontal).
• Repair products and components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Maintain equipment in a safe condition.
• Meet daily productivity and output goals (measured hourly/daily).
• Work from specifications, drawings, and welding symbols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year of TIG welding experience or recent certification from a manufacturing or technical program.
• Ability to TIG weld multiple gauges of stainless steel.

Schedule

Day Shift Only; Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM.
