Bendel Tank and Heat Exchanger, LLC is a leading manufacturer of custom Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Nickel Alloy vessels per ASME, API, TEMA and UL specifications. Primary Functions And Duties
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
- Use specialized welding equipment including TIG, MIG, and Plasma cutters.
- Fit, Fabricate and Weld components to tanks and vessels such as nozzles, manways, ladders, handrails, and platforms. Pipe joints, tube to tube sheets, and thermal jackets.
- Follow and enforce strict shop safety regulations such as wearing safety glasses, heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
- Good housekeeping.
- Work 40 hrs./week minimum plus OT as needed based on workload. Current work week is 48/wk. M-F.
- Work with Team members to ensure top quality and high standards while welding on S.S., C.S. and High Nickel alloys.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following
- Read blueprints and utilized those to lay out work and build products.
- Read and understand measurements. Layout, fit, weld nozzles and other parts inside and out per the drawings.
- Operate an overhead crane.
- Must pass ASME 6G SCH.80 (SA312TP316L) 2" pipe test using GTAW process.
- Must pass ASME 2G plate (SA36 & SA240-304) test using GMAW process.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work safely from a ladder.
- Able to work inside a tank/vessel.
- Must have TIG & MIG welding experience. Pulsed MIG is preferred. Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, and High Nickel alloys.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This position works 6pm-6a M-Th with opportunity for overtime depending on workload.
