A-1 Balers & Compactors, part of the Waste Pro family, is looking for an experienced Welder to join our Fort Pierce team. If you like hands-on work, working with steel and aluminum, fabricating and repairing equipment, and seeing the results of your work every day, this could be a great fit. This is a full-time, year-round position with a steady Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for overtime. You must be able to: Push, pull, drag, and lift items weighing up to 50 poundsClimb ladders and perform overhead reachingWalk, bend, twist, crouch, and lift throughout the workdayMaintain the stamina required for a steady work paceWear and properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Work Environment Work is performed both inside the fabrication facility and outdoors. The position may involve exposure to weather conditions, vehicle and equipment vibration, welding and fabrication activities, and occasional extreme weather conditions.
