Responsibilities

• Prepare, cut pipe sections using table or jig saw, then set up lay‑up sections
• Weld pipe using MIG/ARC welding equipment and techniques
• Complete projects using manufacturing work orders and/or verbal instructions
• Locate materials to complete project
• Use verbal or written instructions from work orders and collect materials for processing
• Cut pipe using pipe cutting equipment
• Lay out pipe sections on a jig or table and weld with MIG/ARC welding equipment and techniques, applying cold galvanizing solution to protect welds
• Perform visual inspection on completed work ensuring quality
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Perform other warehouse and gate fabrication duties as required

Requirements

• 2‑3 years welding experience with MIG and ARC
• Experience working with hand tools
• Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 75 lbs)
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions
• Ability to perform own layouts using jigs
• Ability to work around heat and chemicals
• Must be able to work overtime as needed

Pay

Competitive pay range of $22.50 to $26.00 per hour (based on experience)
