What You'll Do Set up, operate, and tend welding machines to join components and fabricate metal products and assembliesAssemble, align, and clamp workpieces into holding fixtures for bonding, heat-treating, or solderingLay out, position, align, and fit components together, usually in fixturesBolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure them in position for weldingRead job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirementsSet up equipment and weld parts using MIG welding equipmentAssemble parts by bolting and rivetingOperate punch presses, drill presses, shears, saws, and tube-bending equipmentRepair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts What You'll Need Ability to take and pass a welding testYour own welding gear Ready to build your future with us?
