Welder

Job Responsibilities

• Welding using Mig, Tig and Stick Weld structures, piping, and general welding of anything.
• Plan work by interpreting blueprint.
• Determine welding position and type of metal welded.
• Select and set up welding equipment.
• Ensure welds meet standards and specifications.
• Use plasma to cut and trim metal objects.

Knowledge and Skills

• AWS certified welder.
• Minimum 3G plate test unless specifies are listed.
• Able to follow all safety rules and procedures.

Work Experience

• Five years welding experience required.

Skills and Competencies

• Able to read and interpret WPS (Welding Procedure specification) and PQR (Procedure Qualification Record).
• Knowledge of our quality policy and objectives.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Frequently lift 25 pounds.
• Occasionally lift and move drums weighing between 200-500 pounds.
• Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Sit.
