Who We Are TASI Gas Flow has been delivering market-leading gas flow measurement products for more than 50 years. We design and manufacture high-performance thermal mass flow controllers for nearly every gas, liquid, or steam application. We provide critical instrumentation for the gas flow control systems for bioreactors to quickly scale vaccine development from lab to pilot to full-scale production. This position also requires the cutting, punching, and forming of sheet metal prior to being welded. This position requires the welding of mild, stainless, galvanized and aluminum metals, utilizing TIG welding process. Help with daily operations to achieve the goals and objectives of the company. Responsibilities Proficient in reading drawings and welding symbolsProficient welder of Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Galvanized Steel, and AluminumWelding pipe, flange ranging in size ½” diameter through 6” diameter.Cross drilling pipeNPT threading of pipe nipplesProficient in basic math in relation to sheet metal fabricationRunning a turret latheRunning Horizontal Band sawOperate Belt SanderOperate Automatic WelderMaintain safety training.Able to accurately read and utilize a tape measure. Qualifications Knowledge of commonly used tools and machines including Welding machine, Lathe, Mill, Sanders, Drills,Working knowledge of Sheet Metal cutting, forming and safetyDetailed understanding of TIG welding is1-2 years of experience in setting up and operating manual lathe andWorking knowledge of welding carbon, stainlessStrong interpersonal, organization and time management skillsAble to work independently and work well withGood reading, writing, documentation, and analytical skillsExperience working in an ISO 9001 environment is aFillet TIG weld preferred certification.At least 1–2 years of recent TIG welding experience preferred. The compensation range for this position is $26–$28 hourly, depending on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
