JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ensure high-quality production with minimal rework, meeting efficiency and production goals.
- Aid and guide other fabricators to ensure consistent quality and teamwork skills.
- Fit, tack, and weld fabrications to completion, verifying dimensions for accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and promote a safe work environment.
- Identify issues, propose solutions, and present data-driven recommendations.
- Foster teamwork, provide support, and respond constructively to feedback.
- Operate welding equipment and machinery safely and effectively, adhering to established procedures and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to address any issues or concerns related to welding processes or product quality.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality assurance, and workplace conduct.
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: high school diploma or equivalent with additional technical certification or vocational training in welding preferred.
- Experience: proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, with proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
- Strong understanding of welding principles, metallurgy, and material properties, with the ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with welding equipment and tools, including welding machines, torches, grinders, and measuring instruments.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity, with the ability to produce precise and consistent welds on a variety of metal materials.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to established safety protocols and procedures.
