About the Role
Join QA1 in Mooresville, NC as an experienced Welder and play a key role in transforming raw materials into precision-crafted suspension and driveline components for classic and modern performance vehicles. Your attention to detail ensures the quality our customers rely on.
Schedule
Monday – Thursday, 6:30am – 5:00pm, with overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding techniques.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to blueprints and technical drawings.
- Inspect welded joints and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain tools, gages, and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of welding activities and materials used.
- Work closely with other team members to achieve production goals and support overall operations.
- Contribute to a continuous improvement culture.
- Perform other duties as beneficial to the success of QA1.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; advanced education in welding technology preferred.
- 2+ years of welding experience.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
- Prior experience with basic hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive attitude, reliable attendance, and excellent work ethic.
- Basic math, reading, and English communication skills.
- Comfortable working in busy conditions with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to cross-train and learn.
- Ability to work with a diverse team.
