Welder

About the role

Brenton, a division of ProMach, is seeking a Welder to join their team. This position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor and works on the evening shift from 3:30pm - 4:00am Monday - Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run all required welding and cutting processes proficiently.
• Build welding fixtures.
• Complete knowledge of weld symbols.
• Familiar with machining processes.
• Conforms to requirements on a consistent basis in all welding, cutting, and finishing processes, and ensure other employees do so as well.
• Able to accept and complete jobs in a reasonable amount of time.
• Able to read and understand all blueprints.
• Able to weld machine frames and piece parts proficiently with no supervision.
• Follow safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Keep up to date on new techniques and processes.
• Support world-class checkout process.
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisor.

Requirements

• One year welding program preferred but not required.
• 3 - 5 years of experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others.

Qualifications

• Must work well with others.
• Ability to read blueprints.

Pay

Base hourly range: $23-$30/hour.

Schedule

This is a night position, working from 3:30pm - 4:00am Monday - Thursday.
