Welder
About the role
Brenton, a division of ProMach, is seeking a Welder to join their team. This position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor and works on the evening shift from 3:30pm - 4:00am Monday - Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Set up and run all required welding and cutting processes proficiently.
- Build welding fixtures.
- Complete knowledge of weld symbols.
- Familiar with machining processes.
- Conforms to requirements on a consistent basis in all welding, cutting, and finishing processes, and ensure other employees do so as well.
- Able to accept and complete jobs in a reasonable amount of time.
- Able to read and understand all blueprints.
- Able to weld machine frames and piece parts proficiently with no supervision.
- Follow safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Keep up to date on new techniques and processes.
- Support world-class checkout process.
- Perform other tasks as requested by supervisor.
Requirements
- One year welding program preferred but not required.
- 3 - 5 years of experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
Qualifications
- Must work well with others.
- Ability to read blueprints.

Pay
Base hourly range: $23-$30/hour.
Schedule
This is a night position, working from 3:30pm - 4:00am Monday - Thursday.
