Welder

About the role

We are seeking Welders for a full-time, permanent position at a local metal fabrication facility. The ideal candidate must have 4+ years of proven experience in welding, including passing a weld test.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding on various types of material.
• Set up machine based on each task.
• Use of cutting tools and other related equipment.
• Operating forklifts and overhead crane (will be trained).
• Read and interpret drawings.
• Keep work station clean and organized.

Requirements

• 4+ years of MIG experience.
• Pass a MIG pressure test.
• Set up your own machine.
• Use of power tools and other equipment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to work overtime if needed.

Pay

The starting pay is $25-$28 per hour, based on experience and a weld test.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, working 8 - 10 hours per day.
• Some Saturdays may be required.
• Overtime available.
