About the role

A summary full-time 1st shift position available.

Responsibilities

• Set up weldments according to blueprint specifications.
• Place and align jigs and fixtures to hold parts and mount work pieces onto welding positioner.
• Position c-clamps, bar clamps, install shims, wedges, and spacers to align weldments in preparation for welding.
• Apply state-of-the-art welding technology to weld together metal fabricated assemblies and subassemblies in accordance with blueprint specifications.
• Welding methods may include arc, shielded arc, flux core gas shielded, MIG and/or TIG weld processes.

Requirements

• High School graduate with minimum of 2-year vocational school education with major concentration in the field of welding technology.
• Welding training in accordance with AWS 14.1 welding code (certification desirable).
• 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading.
• Physically capable of occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Must be able to work overtime.

Benefits

Yearly profit share plan with performance evaluations every 90 days, potential for pay increases based on performance, and a maximum hourly wage of $31.50.

Pay

The current maximum is $31.50/hour.
