Duties

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel and aluminum, ensuring strong, clean, and accurate welds.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Set up and operate welding machines and equipment, including pre-weld preparations like cleaning and cutting metal surfaces.
  • Inspect welded components to ensure they meet company and industry standards, identifying defects and making necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and the working environment, ensuring everything is in optimal working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standards, wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Perform post-weld operations like grinding surfaces as needed.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving related to welding processes or quality control issues.

Requirements

  • A strong background in welding both steel and aluminum, with a focus on high-quality craftsmanship, precision, and safety.
  • Experience operating MIG and TIG welding machines and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify and correct defects in welds.
  • Knowledge of welding safety protocols and standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Welding certification preferred but not required.

Skills

  • Strong welding skills, particularly in MIG and TIG welding.
  • Attention to detail and precision.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • 10 hour shifts.
  • 8 hour shifts.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime available.

Pay

Pay: $20.00+ per hour, based on experience.
