Job Description

Ingram Marine Group is seeking an Experienced Welder for their team in East Carondelet, Illinois. The position involves repairing and maintaining Ingram's fleet of barges and boats. The role requires flexibility and the ability to take on new tasks and responsibilities.

What you'll be doing

• Wire and stick welding
• Cutting/Fitting
• Operating forklift
• Operating hydraulic crane
• Inspecting and pumping barges
• Routinely cleaning docks
• Other duties as requested

Candidates must

• Possess a High School Diploma or GED
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Display excellent communication skills
• Can walk and lift for extended periods
• Can carry more than fifty pounds on a regular basis
• Must be able to read and write the English language to comply with USCG regulatory requirements

Additional Information

• Monday-Friday
• 7-3:30 (winter hours)
• 6-2:30 (summer hours)
• Rates: $20.16 up to $30.14 per hour
