Responsibilities
- Promote Company’s Purpose, Mission, and Vision statements.
- Perform daily equipment, walk around, and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.
- Operate and maintain welders, cutting torch, plasma cutter, chop saws, and other welding/fabricating equipment.
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, drawing specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to safely and accurately complete equipment repairs and or fabricate complete components.
- Rework and/or repair welded parts, equipment, and components.
- Utilize skills to fabricate metal components as needed.
- Use hand and power tools common to the trade.
- Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, man lifts, etc.
- Communicate effectively (verbal, written, listening).
- Frequent contact and communications with others within and outside the company to ensure all equipment is running properly.
- Self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Able to maintain positive team member relations and act courteous/respectful of others.
- Maintain clean and safe work area.
- Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.

Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of welding materials, welding properties, and various types of metals.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- 2+ years’ experience welding and fabricating.
- Proficient in all types of welding including pipefitting and overhead.
- Experience in mechanical work such as training belts, installing belts, installing v-belts, gearboxes, and changing bearings.
- Able to work independently and as a team player.
- Willing to work irregular schedule including mornings, evenings, & weekends.
- Must be willing to travel to different work sites.
- Comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather conditions and in a noisy, dusty environment.
- Must be able to work safely in a busy environment with moving machinery.
- Able to work in varying environments – hot, cold, dusty, noisy field conditions.
- Able to lift and carry heavy items weighing 50 pounds occasionally throughout the day.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

- Experience in mechanical work such as training belts, installing belts, installing v-belts, gearboxes, and changing bearings.
- Experience in operating heavy equipment and performing mechanical repairs.
- Experience in electrical work and confined space training.
- Experience in operating forklifts and obtaining relevant certifications.
- Experience in maintaining and repairing plant operation, conveyor systems, and equipment.
- Experience in operating and maintaining welding equipment.
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- MSHA Part 46 certified.
- OSHA 10 certified.
