Welder

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate welding equipment to manufacture and fabricate finished metal products.
• Weld on all types of steel, including stainless steel, according to blueprints and product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications and conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
• De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure high-quality work.
• Comply with all safety rules and guidelines.
• Adhere to assigned work schedule, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with MIG and TIG welding.
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures.
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Completion of a 2-year Welding program or 4 years of welding experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with welding various steels.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive team attitude.
