What Will You Do?

• Welding & Fabrication Duties
• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum piping, particularly for cryogenic systems
• Perform dual shield MIG welding on stainless and carbon steel components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Ensure all welds meet strict quality control and safety standards
• Conduct pre- and post-weld inspections
• Perform pressure testing of vessels and piping systems
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools
• Perform Incoming Inspections and reports on equipment
• Mechanical & Electrical Duties
• Perform mechanical repairs and component replacement on trailers, including:
• Hubs
• Bushings
• Shocks
• Suspension systems
• Complete minor 12V and 480V electrical work on trailers and related equipment
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or electrical issues in the field or shop

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require...

• Fast-paced fabrication shop and on-site project settings
• Exposure to varying temperatures, including cold environments associated with cryogenic systems
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and working in confined spaces for extended periods

Your Experience Should Be...

• Minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience, preferably in pipe welding with stainless steel
• Ability to obtain and maintain TIG welding certifications (certifications encouraged)
• Strong understanding of welding processes, metallurgy, and the behavior of stainless steel in demanding applications
• Proficiency with measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Experience With Cryogenic Systems Or High-precision Piping Assemblies
• Familiarity With ABS (Anti-lock Braking Systems), RSS PLUS stability systems, Hendrickson air ride / ADB suspension systems, 12V Electrical Troubleshooting
• Knowledge of ASME and AWS codes and standards
