Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
- Fabricate and repair metal structures, equipment, and parts according to specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to determine welding requirements.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform necessary adjustments and repairs to achieve desired results.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding project status and any issues.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in welding or completion of a welding training program.
- Minimum of 2 years of welding experience.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
