Welder

What You Will Do

• Setting up welding machines and welding various thicknesses and types of steel.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Set up dies.
• Build parts to order.
• Operate cutting torch, stud and spot welders, handheld cutting torch, stick and wire welders, overhead hoists, drills, grinders, buffers, and sand blasters.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Execute proper clamping of welded structures.
• Complete paperwork assignments accurately.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

• Education and Experience: High school graduate or equivalent. Welding experience.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of welding techniques. Basic computer knowledge.
• Skills: Time management. Leadership and people skills. Strong problem-solving ability.

• Able to wear safety (steel- or composite-toed) shoes during entire shift.
• Able to wear hearing protection during entire shift.

Pay Range

$23.34 – $24.50 per hour
